End of Spring 2018 Garden Update

You guys, I love having a yard. My garden is growing so well! Everything is getting huge. I don't even know where to begin, so let's just go with photos, shall we?

Also, I've added some new plants: Jupiter's Beard (Red Valerian), Ice Plants, Black Lace Elderberry, Wormwood, Lamb's Ear, and Cinnamon Basil.

And, I poured wild flower seeds in all the flower beds, just for good measure.

The lettuce harvests have pretty much dwindled the last week in the 90+ degree heat, but we've got so much in the fridge we're still eating a lot of salads. The pak choi is done, but the kale is harvest ready, and the broccoli is forming heads! The tomatoes, peppers, corn, beans, cucumbers, and squash, zucchini and melons are all steadily growing.

We've been harvesting peas and strawberries this week, and even a few gold raspberries! It's a nice little welcome during the lull from spring harvest to summer. We won't have much ready until July, probably, but everything is growing rapidly!

The wildflower barrel is in full bloom now, and I've sprinkled these seeds all over the yard because I love how they've turned out.

Growing a garden in the ground is so fun! While I battle weeds, and pests on the daily, it's so much easier to have an abundant garden! I love it.
