A Smattering Of Motivational Stuff Vol. 2

I spent the weekend above 10,000 feet elevation in the high Uinta Mountains. A post is coming about that, and also more posts are coming for the blog. However, I've been pretty busy and didn't get a chance to write much over the past week.

So, because of that, I have found several other blogs and sites that really hit the nail on the head on a few topics related to joy. Take a look at some of these, and I'll be back really soon with new content!

THIS BLOG

100 Days Without Fear is one of my new favorites. For her Master's program she had to do a creative project for 100 days. She chose 100 days without fear because she was afraid of everything. She documents each fear that she faces with video, emojis to describe her feelings, and a small write-up of the experience. Her blog went viral, and is now her full-time job!

This is one of my favorite videos from the whole thing. Could you dance like nobody is watching in the middle of a busy intersection?

THIS QUOTE FROM THIS GUY

“We are not trapped or locked up in these bones. No, no. We are free to change. And love changes us. And if we can love one another, we can break open the sky.”
Walter Mosley, Blue Light

  1. Have you looked at other 100 day challenges? I think it started with a girl who did push ups for 100 days because people told her that her arms looked so puny and weak. She prompted a whole 100 day challenge revolution. So inspiring - thanks for sharing this one!

    1. Um... I need that challenge. I am Captain Gangly over here. I haven't seen any other 100 days challenge but now you've piqued my curiosity!
